YouTube accused of PIRATES in Spain

Spanish chain of TV denounces YouTube and calls them "pirates"

YouTube has had numerous problems due to the royalties of the videos that the users share in the web. From 2006 they begin to delete videos due to demands per copyright violations.

The Spanish chain TeleCinco, begins to affirm in its official blog, after being known the first demands, in January of 2007, that to put obstacles to the broadcast of videos in the era of the telecommunications, it would be as putting gates to the field. In these cases reference was not made to the royalties, but to a video of a public character that he/she wanted to delete it of the page to consider it offensive.

But then, one year and half later, it is this same chain of TV who puts an accusation to YouTube, accusing them of pirates, and of broadcasting contents of TeleCinco without authorization. This way, the chain of TV that you/they are enriching when operating the right of intellectual and industrial property says. They say that this way new pirates have arrived, and that not alone they are secret, but rather it takes place them and they also trade on the stock exchange.

The chain TeleCinco has already carried out several requirements to YouTube, to put an end to the violations per them made, but always, according to this of the chain of TV, You Tube has refused to recognize responsibilities for the dubbed contents and published in its page.

This service of online TV of Google, tries by all possible means, of achieving that the Spanish Tribunals don't intervene, and that the topic is processed in tribunals of United States.

The posture of the defense of You Tube, is to assure that them alone they are intermediary of the videos that its users share. They also assure to have implemented a technology "anti-piracy" that allows their proprietors to manage the royalties and this way to discover, for example when an user introduces a video on which they have the copyright.
