Tips for a good search in Google

Small tips to search in Google

- If what you need is to search an exact sentence, you should introduce it among double quote (""). For example:
"sport newspapers"

- If you need to find pages that include determined words, but not other, you will arrange the sign '- ' before those that we don't want to search. For example, to discover places that contain the word 'shopping', but not the word 'online':
shopping - online

- When we want to search a certain word or other, we will use 'OR' (or we will also be able to use the symbol '|' (AltGr+1). For example, to search sites in those that aparazca 'spreads' and 'shoes', or 'spreads' and 'pants':
books (action OR adventures)
books (action | adventures)

- Some words exist (in Spanish: 'a', 'de', 'el',...; in English: 'to', 'of', 'the',...) that they are not kept in mind in the searches of Google, if it is that we don't indicate them specifically, writing them with the sign '+' before these words. If we carry out these two searches we won't obtain the same results:
the city
+the city

- We will be able to use wildcards. The symbol '* ' it is used to replace a word, and this way to facilitate some searches. For example:
"those * days"
"those * * days"

- The usage of upper case or lower-case are shadowy, the result of the search will be the same one:
DEPort
deport
